Detailed description is African Students Organization at the Midwestern State University. ASO started as an outlet for students of MSU to promote African awareness. "A.S.O" is short for African Students Organization at the Midwestern State University. MSU's ASO started as an outlet for the African students of MSU and all interested MSU students to come together and promote positive African awareness. Not only was ASO started to promote African awareness, but also to foster friendships and mutual understanding of ALL the beautiful and diverse cultures that make up Africa. In addition, our mission is to create a community of people whose achievement and well being are enhanced by diversity..
