It was founded by a group of Latina women from a variety of backgrounds with the purpose of forming a network to unite and support the women on campus.. . ∞ The Ladies of Alpha Pi Sigma pride themselves in holding their education in the highest regard.. . ∞ They believe that campus involvement, academics, leadership, and community service are key components in achieving success at the University level. Other objectives of the Sorority include promoting members academically, personally, and professionally.. . ∞ Although Alpha Pi Sigma is a Latina based sorority, it does not discriminate against any ethnic background.
