Detailed description is O’Connor Method Charleston, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization incorporated primarily to support the O’Connor Method Camp in Charleston, SC. O’Connor Method Charleston, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit organization incorporated in January of 2012 primarily to support the O’Connor Method Camp Charleston which was launched in August of 2011. Since that time, the camp has doubled in size serving nearly 150 students and teachers from 20 states and several foreign countries. . . In the past two years, the organization has expanded its projects beyond the camp to include city-wide jam sessions and performances for students involved in the O’Connor Method, increased teacher training in South Carolina and formation of the Jacksonboro Fiddle Club, an after school program built around learning to play American music on the fiddle. Plans for the future include creation of an American Music string orchestra for tri-county area students, expanded teacher training, increased involvement with SCMEA and continued support of the camp and fiddle club.. . . . . . .
