Jean Marie Moore discovered the joys of yoga in 2004 as a means of coping with daily stress and healing spinal and leg injuries.
She is a UC Berkeley Architecture grad and a LEED AP in the green building industry.
And she is a Chamber of Commerce Leadership Oakland 2013 grad.
She retired her construction management business at the end of 2015 to teach and manage the studio full-time.
Jean Marie completed the 200-hr YogaFit and the 225-hr Piedmont Yoga teacher trainings while studying with Dr.
Baxter Bell.
She also completed a 100-hr Tantric Yoga Immersion at Yoga Tree and currently studies with Rolf Gates in his 500-hour Advanced Vinyasa Teacher Training..

Katrina is a graduate of the The Yoga Room's Advanced Studies Program and teaches at Anasa Yoga.
Katrina's teaching is influenced by her love of dance, the faculty at The Yoga Room, Sandy Blaine, Maty Ezraty, and Senior Iyengar yoga teachers.
In 2012 she was awarded a GirlTrek Trailblazer Fellowship, for her volunteer work in inspiring African American women and girls to live their healthiest most fulfilled lives simply by walking..
