We live in a farming and logging community in the rolling foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Southwestern NY. Our family has been located here and engaged in logging and farming since the 1860's. The Amish family has been farmers and sawmillers for generations. We first met this Amish family a number of years ago when we needed some logs custom sawn. To make a long story short, our families became fast friends and we now work together on a daily basis.
