Detailed description is Nichole and I have somehow ended up with this amazing building, one that is vibrant with the history and energy of the creative community here in Kent. Formerly, this was an art studio for previous owners Joseph & Algesa O'Sickey. We've developed a vision of sharing it as a space for the greater area arts, music, creative, and activist communities to utilize as a gathering place to share creations, ideas, and resources. . . This includes, but is not limited to: Live Music, Traditional Gallery Shows, Workshops, Salons, Theater, Live Drawing, Comedy, Organizational Meetings, Activist Work, etc., etc., etc. What do you want to do/share at Art House?. . Currently we have a decent stage built in the ~1000 sq foot downstairs main room with an decent sound system including stage monitors and some DIY stage lighting. We have ample equipment to handle most common stage setups. We also have a fair amount of seating if/when needed.
