After working there for another seven years, the Basse's decided to branch out and started the Taste of Country store in September of 2000. The Basse's extend their love of family to their business. Basse's offers family-orientated, fun and educational activities all year long. For the young and young at heart, Basse's offers fun "agritainment" (entertainment with and agricultural flair) for the whole family! Open in June for U-Pick strawberries, followed closely by Blake's U-Pick raspberries, then July brings in Basse's signature "super sweet" sweet corn, and lastly in October begins Pumpkin Fest which ends the season with a bang!
