The Bend Whitewater Park features three channels in the Deschutes River -- a channel for floaters and paddlers, a whitewater play area and a natural area to enhance habitat. The whitewater park is open 5:00 am to 10:00 pm daily and there is no fee for access.. . McKay Park, located directly adjacent to the project, includes accessible trails, a beach, restrooms, changing rooms, and an observation deck.. .
