Detailed description is Welcome to the Bergen County REALTOR® Center for Professional Development. Located at the crossroads of NJ routes 80, 46 and 17 we are the premier NY-NJ Metropolitan area educational center for real estate agent and broker licenses. . Policy: . . Registration is accepted on a first-paid, first-confirmed basis. Upon receipt of your registration and payment you will receive an email confirmation of your registration. Registration and class sized may be limited. Students must provide a copy of a valid US ID (i.e. driver’s license or passport). . Real Estate License Prerequisites Applicant must be 18 years of age Be a legal resident of the United States Have a high school education or equivalency certificate The absence of any convictions for forgery, burglary, robbery, any theft offense other than shoplifting, criminal conspiracy to defraud, or other like offenses within the five years preceding the application for licensure Complete a 75 hour pre-licensure course at a licensed school Attend 80% of the 75 hours Achieve a passing grade of 70% to receive a Certificate of Satisfactory Completion Pass the NJ REC License exam Provide responses to “screening questions” that relate to the statutory qualifications to receive a real estate license. . . Tuition & Refund Policy. . Tuition / Refund Policy: The balance of the tuition is due at least one (1) week (7 business days) prior to the scheduled start date of the class. Upon receipt of the full tuition payment you will receive an email confirmation of your enrollment. A written notice of cancellation or withdrawal must be received one week (7 business days) prior to the scheduled start date of the class. If written notice is received one week (7 business days) prior to the scheduled start date of the class a full refund will be given less the non-refundable $100 registration deposit. If a student fails to notify the center in advance of the withdrawal or cancellation prior to the start date of the class, no refund will be given. No cancellations will be accepted or refunds given after the course start date.. . In the event that a class is cancelled, the student will be given the option to register for a future course or request a full tuition refund. Once a student has registered for a future date they will not be able to cancel or withdraw their registration based on the previous class cancellation.. . The registration deposit and tuition are not transferable to another person, nor are they proratable. If seating is available a student may transfer to another class within one year of the original start date for a fee of $50. There is a $50 fee for all returned checks. Textbooks are included in the tuition. There is no additional charge for the final exam given on the last day of the class. Students may re-take the exam once free of charge. There is a $50 fee for addition final exam retakes.. . Cancellation Policy. . In the event that a class is cancelled, the student will be given the option to register for a future course or request a full tuition refund. Once a student has registered for a future date they will not be able to cancel or withdraw their registration based on the previous class cancellation.
