He ranked 17th out of 157 GOP challengers nationwide by earning 40% of the vote with more than 115,000 votes. Following the race he served as a surrogate speaker in New Jersey for Republican candidates for Governor, U.S. Senate and for Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s presidential campaign in 2008.. .
