Detailed description is BREAD serves at risk youth, programming includes after-school, summer camp, adult education, and health initiatives for both children and adults. BREAD has continued to serve families in Pratt City, North Birmingham, Forestdale, Adamsville with after school enrichment, summer camp, and adult education programs. . The enrichment program, STEPS (Striving to Equip and Prepare) serves a Safe Haven for more than 100 students daily. Students and their parents rely on the program to provide school work assistance, arts and crafts, physical activity, nutritious snacks, character education, and participation in service learning activities. Students who ae enrolled at BREAD have experienced drastic improvements in grades and character!
