Since 1966, the Center for Human Services and Cooperative Workshops, Inc. have provided meaningful work opportunities for men and women with disabilities. These work opportunities include subcontracted piece-work, packaging, assembly, wood products and services such as grounds maintenance, custodial services, recycling and mobile work crews. While all of our employees enjoy the work they do, many employees continue to express a strong desire to work in a creative community setting and explore new job opportunities. This desire led to the development of a retail greenhouse we are proud to call CHS Bloomin' Gardens.. . Thanks to generous donations from the estates of two long time friends of CHS/CWI, Robert W. and Mark W. Mason, we were able to construct a state of the art 5,760 square foot greenhouse, which we honorably named The Robert W. and Mark W. Mason Horticultural Training Center.. . We are pleased to offer an extensive assortment of plants and flowers that are grown right inside our greenhouse. Our employees take great pride in knowing that what once was a tiny seed is now a hearty, beautiful plant or flower that they helped grow. Our employees are excited to be able to work in the greenhouse and interact with customers. Unlike many retail greenhouses, we welcome you to shop inside our greenhouse for a more enjoyable experience.
