My name is Amy Sheppard, I own and operate Brilliant Me Academy Childcare Centre. I have my Early Childhood Care & Education Diploma from Holland College and continued my studies at the University of Prince Edward Island and graduated with a Family Studies Degree. There is a routine schedule for the babies, toddlers and preschool children & we do planning every week in science, art work, books and more! The After School program consists of getting off the bus at the childcare, having a snack which is provided, working on some homework for half hour and going outdoors to have some fun at the end of the day. My goal is to offer high quality childcare in a safe, secure & positive environment. Also, for the children to develop social awareness through interaction while learning acceptable behaviour with their peers, to develop a positive self image, self-esteem, self worth & independence.
