Detailed description is Bryant House is a non-profit co-op ran by a parent board. At Bryant House we believe children learn by hands-on activities and having fun while learning. While developing motor skills and teamwork we can introduce the more standard critiria for getting ready for Kindergarten such as reading and writing. The children have a viriety of activities to choose from so the teacher's focus can be on one child's activity of choice at the time. Whether it be drawing, stamping and coloring at the writing table, pretend play in the dress up room or learning team work and problem solving with the blocks. The teacher can encourage one place or another to help develope areas of weakness without the child being singled out such as in a classroom setting. Older children are encouraged to practice more reading and writing and with the younger children they learn to play, get along with others and teamwork, also introducing letters, numbers and color recognition. . . We currently have clsses 3 days a week- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Parents can enroll their kids either 2 or 3 days per week. Bryant House class times are T, W, Th 9-11:30 am.. . $45 for 2 days. $60 for 3 days. There is a one time registration fee of $50 to be paid before classes start.
