Detailed description is Agency Based Foster Care Agency founded in 1999. There are Foster Parents all across Nebraska in several communities and maybe someone you know works with a foster child at church or school. . . As many foster parents as there are, there still needs to be more. Each child that comes into care needs a loving and nurturing home to build a foundation for the challenges they are facing at such a young age. Not everyone will become a foster parent for various reasons and that's okay. But everyone can play an important part to support the effort and support the children in care. There are several ways to get involved.. . Building Blocks is a Non Profit agency that works to recruit new Homes, find respite providers, support current homes with the challenges of Fostering, and help provide activities for those families to build strong relationships.. . In 2014 we held our annual Family Fall Day for our Foster Families at Poppies Pumpkin Patch in Norfolk. We were sponsors for the Norfolk Community Easter Egg Hunt. We held a booth at the Children's Day Festival in Norfolk. We hosted Green Eggs and Ham in O'Neill for St. Pats. Were a part of the adoption day celebration in Norfolk. Held our first annual 5K in O'Neill to build awareness. . .
