There are 3 gravel pits offering various aggregate products located at Keating, Sooke and Duncan. The very original Butler Brothers Store was founded in 1909 by Claude, Wally, Eric and Tom's uncles Willfred and Geoffrey. It was located on the corner of Veyaness and Keating xrd and sold "General Merchandise". The 4 brothers worked independently Logging and selling Gravel as well as working on many different side projects. . Butler Brothers Supplies has always been an adapting and changing company. The Brothers officially opened their own store in 1948 where they sold cement, roofing supplies, coal and presto logs. They also had 1 ready mix truck and 1 dump truck..
