Be sure to follow us on Twitter @camp_moe and on Instagram Camp_Moe Camp MOE (previously known as Camp LARC) is opening its doors to ALL children to continue its long tradition of providing a quality day camp experience. Camp MOE will be under the direction of Katherine Marchand-Beyer who directed Camp LARC for over 35 years. Camp MOE will be located on the property of Camp Maria Pratt in Torrington, with over 325 acres of beautiful woods and fields, a private pond, miles of marked trails and lots of wildlife. In addition to the natural wonders, we have a swimming area, boating and fishing docks, volleyball and basketball courts, a playing field, archery range, unit sites and indoor facilities for rainy day activities.. . Camp MOE runs an inclusive program for children ages 5 to 15, where all children have the opportunity to participate in all activities, make friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Camp MOE strives to build a camp community that celebrates diversity and fosters an understanding of each child’s similarities and differences.
