Detailed description is At Carey's Tax Service, we are a family-owned and operated income tax preparation business that has been operating at the same location for over 45 years.
In 1968, a young thirty-two-year old Faye Carey opened the doors for business at her new office.
At the time, it was only a 1-room building, and DiAnne (Faye's only child) was a mere twelve-year old at the time.
By the early 80s, DiAnne had decided that licensed practical nursing wasn't her niche' after all; so then there were two--and a force to be reckoned with.
They both agreed that clients aren't just "clients," a "tax return," or more income for them.
Over the years, many friendships were created with people that they may never have otherwise known that still continue to support their legacies today.

By the time that Faye passed away on New Year's Eve 2008, DiAnne had already been running the business on her own for close to 5 years.
The whole family was rocked with grief, but DiAnne still managed to overcome and get right back to work in tax season.
A few years later, late in 2012, DiAnne began to have health issues of her own.
Ten surgeries ensued, with 60+ radiation treatments as well as chemotherapy to fight and treat Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, tonsil cancer, and esophageal cancer.
She fought to live the last two and half years of her life, losing her battle in the early morning hours of April 30,2015 with her youngest daughter by her side.

Presently, the business is owned and managed at the same location, by the youngest daughter, Kerri Lynn Phillips.
