Detailed description is Carolina Firsts is a student organization that aims to equip first generation college students with the social, academic and professional skills that they need for success at Carolina and beyond! Carolina Firsts is an organization whose goal is to provide academic and social support to all first generation students through out their experience at Carolina!. . We are very proud to have you a part of the Carolina family and hope you will join us as we celebrate, connect and graduate together!. . Some of this years goals:. 1. Start a Mentorship program. 2. Plan and execute the first ever Carolina Firsts graduation ceremony. 3. Have a parents weekend in the spring for parents of first generation students. 4. Revise the CTOPS session specific to first generation students and their parents. 5. Have social/fund-raising events to raise awareness and create unity among members. 6. AND SO MUCH MORE...
