Detailed description is Nature and Travel Photography, Weddings & Portrait Photography including: Boudoir, Engagement, Maternity, Babies/Children, Family & Pets. My name is Cathy Thorsell. My husband, Nathan, and I lived in New Hampshire most of our lives with our 4-legged kids. We moved to South Carolina in 2016. Nathan and I met in my senior year in High School and have shared many happy memories together, including traveling and ballroom dancing. Nathan is my true love and best friend. He is a great partner and support for this business. If it weren't for him, it wouldn't be as successful as it is today. . . Through Saint Anselm College and Southern NH University I obtained undergraduate degrees in marketing and business administration, and a master’s degree in business.. . My love of photography has gotten me through many hard times in my life, including the day my Mom and Dad informed me that my Mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. Taking photographs became a way for me to remember the beauty in the world. Over time it became a part of who I am. My Mom always kept a positive attitude. She taught me many things in my life, including: “Instead of waiting for the storm to pass, learn to dance in the rain.” She died on Mother's Day 2010 and left an amazing legacy.. . Being a part of people's life events and recording their legacies through my lens is such an honor. I have found that taking photographs is one of my favorite ways of “dancing in the rain”.
