Detailed description is CCIU Practical Nursing Program The Chester County Intermediate Unit (formerly Center for Arts & Technology) Practical Nursing Program offers a 12-month, full-time day program and a 23-month evening program. In both programs, students complete 1635 hours of rigorous academic study and clinical experience. Students spend 45 percent of their time in the classroom and the remaining 55 percent of their time in a clinical rotation at one of the many medical facilities in the area, including: Chester County Hospital, Brandywine Hospital, Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Center, VA Medical Center, Pocopson Home, and others
