Detailed description is Handcrafted soaps and body care products created in small batches on my farm. My name is Linda and I am a daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. I live on a small farm in Southern California. I love, love animals and have quite a few: 5 miniature horses, 2 pregnant Nigerian Dwarf goats, 2 turkeys (because they are funny), 1 Guinea hen (I don’t know why-she’s very loud), 10 laying hens, 2 dogs and a cat. I love to garden and can what I grow for later use. There are 150 apple trees that I love to pick from, but hate to care for. I hang my clothes on a clothesline because I don’t like paying any more than necessary to the electric company and love the way they smell. I live in jeans or sweatpants and flannels in the winter and jeans and tanks in the summer. I love seeing and admire women all dressed up. I don’t like dressing up, but clean up pretty good when I need to and I love my skin to be soft and smell pretty all the time. I’m letting my naturally curly hair grow again so I can wear it in a braid because it’s much easier for me in my daily routine. I would really like to let it go gray, but so far I haven’t found the courage. I rarely wear a hat, although I spend so much time outside I really should. I drive a pickup truck because, hey, I make numerous runs to the feed store and need the room. I love good country music, some rock and old hymns. I’m a Toby Keith and Alan Jackson diehard fan. I love my church and my church family and know that no matter what, I can count on them to be beside me.. . I began making soap when I was diagnosed with Grave’s Disease. All the soaps I purchased off the shelf left my skin cracked and bleeding. I had always wanted to make soap, but never took the opportunity. I started researching the disease and what it was doing to my skin. In that research, I discovered the incredible benefits of goat milk and using the simplest ingredients possible. I started sharing the soap with family and friends, who raved about how it left their skin feeling. Slowly I started selling it to others and then decided I would go for broke and start a company. Over time, I began making lotion and body butter, then sugar scrub. (I tried making bath bombs, but failed miserably and didn’t like that I couldn’t control the ingredients as I would like.). . In a nutshell, that’s who I am. Simple and down to earth, just like I make my products.
