Detailed description is CCSM enrolls approximately 115 children from 28 Springfield schools and 14 surrounding towns, covering seven counties in Southwest Missouri. Each choir averages four to six rehearsals monthly, August through April, ranging in length from 45 minutes for the beginning singers to one hour and 45 minutes for the more advanced choirs.. . Auditions are held annually in May and early June, and at other times by appointment. The season kicks off with Choir Camp and a Summer Social/Sing in August. Annual concerts include the "Holiday Festival" in December and the "Spring Showcase" in April.
