Detailed description is This is a class that allows you to get your Concealed Handgun License. Classes are taught all over the Texas Panhandle and the South Plains. CHL Classes offers one day classroom education and gun range qualification for those seeking a DPS Concealed Handgun License. The classroom education is normally 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and then followed by the gun range portion. You will need 50 rounds, a handgun with a calibre of .32 or larger. I have guns that I will loan for the gun range at no charge. Cost of the class is $75. Classes are taught at Frank Phillips College in Borger, Clarendon College in Pampa, and Clarendon, also at Hale Center High School in Hale Center. Classes can be taught at your home, church, or at your business.. Applicants also need to do an online application with DPS (www.txdps.state.tx.us). Their cost is $140 maximum.
