Detailed description is Chosen Youth Ministry is apart of Mt. Calvary Power House Church under our pastor Bishop Ron Webb. Our Youth Group is every Wednesday at 6-7PM. Ages 13-21. Our name, “CHOSEN” comes from 1 Peter 2:9, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light". . . Our mission is to bring up the Chosen Generation, who are Chosen to Know Christ and Chosen to Show Christ; we teach the word and bring awareness of this life, so that we can help each youth grow strong in their walk with God and to stand strong for what is right. We want to help build them and bring the best out of them. As the chosen Generation, we remind our youth that we are called out of darkness and into His light. Who's light? Christ light! This means we don't have to live in sadness, anger, confusion, guilt, addictions, or any type of strongholds and sin, Jesus died on the cross to set us free. He forgives us and then gives us strength to overcome any struggles when we keep focused on Him. He is our way to make it here on earth and to Heaven. This is what it means to be CHOSEN. So we invite all to step into the Chosen: Accept Christ, Walk In His Light, Be Free, so that that you too can say, "I AM CHOSEN".. . John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.". . If you are ready to step into the Chosen and to accept Christ into your life please say this prayer:. . Jesus, I know I have sinned. I know you died on the cross and rose again for my sins. Please forgive me of my sins. I accept you in my life and from this day forward, I will follow you. I love you Lord and I thank you for saving me.. .
