Detailed description is Circle of Courage® Project is a partnership between Parkland School Division and Paul First Nation. The Circle of Courage® Project is a regional project designed to enhance service delivery, programs and supports to our area First Nations Schools and all regional students by strengthening the relationship between education/health stakeholders who have a vested interest in children and their well-being. The project will use a comprehensive school health approach which focuses on the resilience model outlined by Dr. Martin Brokenleg’s Circle of Courage® and aligned with the Search Institute’s 40 Developmental Assets for Children and Youth. By regularly convening elders, students, parents, caregivers, teachers, and service providers to a shared table, this project will create an intentional sense of belonging across sectors and within our regional area of Treaty 6 by focusing on whole child outcomes through the re-design of our regional partnerships.
