Detailed description is Photographer: I have been shooting class reunion group photos since 2004. I have been shooting class reunion group photos for several years and have a great deal of experience in setting up large groups of people in such a way that everyone is clearly visible. Once set up, I take several shots to help ensure that I will capture everyone looking their best.. . I most often have class reunion bookings in Fort Kent, but will travel to surrounding areas upon request. Please contact me to see what the travel fee would be to shoot the class photo on-location at your reunion.. . THE RATES. I don't charge a sitting fee to go take the class photo as long as at least 30 people will be placing orders. If there are fewer than 30 orders, I include a $50 fee to take the photo, billable to the class that hired me. (This quantity of orders is not usually a problem with the larger classes and the classes that are good about early communication with the attendees.). . The photos cost $10 each for local pick-up. I DO NOT handle the distribution of the local pick-up photos. Someone on the reunion committee or a volunteer from the class must take care this. Alternatively, you may pay $5 extra ($15 in all) to have your reunion photo mailed to you. I handle packaging, postage and shipping. The class must provide the printed mailing labels for everyone who ordered a photo and I take care of the rest. Most classes choose to have all photos mailed to avoid worrying about pick-ups.. . WHAT YOU GET:. Each person who orders will receive ONE - 8x10 full-color photograph on archival paper with the class graduation year, town and the date of the reunion printed on the photo. I take great strides in ensuring that I capture everyone looking their best; no turned heads, closed eyes, no strange facial expressions (hey, a reunion is a party and some people have a hard time paying attention!) and no one hiding or obscured behind someone else. It's not a guarantee, but it's pretty darn close! I try really hard to present you with a photo where everyone looks their best. . . WHAT TO DO:. Typically, the class will include photo-ordering information in the reunion mailing that goes out to the class the year PRIOR TO the reunion. If another mailing is going out after the photographer / pricing has been decided on, it would be a great idea to include this information and / or an order form so it gives people who can't attend the reunion an opportunity to order a photo. Typically, the class takes care of collecting the money and the orders, then they give the money and order information to me, either after the photo is shot by me or a few days after the reunion, once all is collected and any last-minute orders have been requested.. . WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:. I do require that the class provides me with printed address labels for those who will be getting photos by mail. This way, there is no confusion or errors on my part. Some classes choose not to bother with the local pick-up. They often opt to have me mail everything so no one has to do any running around. Local pick-up means that I will give whoever is in charge all of the Fort Kent and surrounding area photos for the classmates to pick up from somewhere or someone. Some people like to save a few bucks, but most people would rather pay extra to eliminate the hassle.. . If you decide to book me for your class photo, PLEASE get the message out to your classmates that the photo will be taking place at a VERY SPECIFIC time to ensure that everyone arrives in time for the photo.
