Detailed description is We here at CCC are a small, home-run rescue operation! We have many different animals resting here, before finding their forever homes. It started with one, then turned to two, and then four.... and now who knows. I started with pets, and then it turned into a giant mess of critters everywhere who just needed help! The ones who have it worst always find their way to me, and I'm pretty sure that's for good reason too -- they deserve a loving midway point to their forever home.. . The rescues that started it all were Rango and George. I took them in on November 8th, 2016, after finding their ad on a garage sale post. "Two male bearded dragons and tank, 40$." I paid $10, got two boys in horrendous conditions, and one 40B tank. No lighting, no anything.... and that's just the start of it.. . They came home with me, and George was clearly the healthier of the two. He was active and alert, and truly enjoyed his bugs - I've never seen a dragon eat that much! Rango, on the other hand..... I didn't think he would make it through the night. He was lethargic, skin and bones, and fell asleep in the tub. This sweet boy was the worst looking animal I've ever seen, and the previous owners had no idea or care to do anything about it.. . Here we are months later, with Rango a fat and happy boy, going to his new forever home. George went home a month after his initial intake, and now it's Rango's turn. These boys are what started the rescue-rehab-rehome initiative I hold near and dear to my heart, and why I will continue to open my home to animals who need me most.
