Detailed description is The Clinton Careers in Technology & Engineering Program (CCTE) is a NYS PLTW career and technical endorsed education program for "pre-engineering." The CCTE program is a NYS certified CTE program for Pre-Engineering using PLTW curriculum and offering internship experience for students. . . Instructors are the "O-TEAM" Mr. Owens and Mr. O'Rourke. . Mr. Owens is the programs work base coordinator. . . Clinton became a PLTW school again in 2017. Mr. O'Rourke teaches Design and Modeling at the middle school and Design and Drawing for Production at the high school. Mr. Owens teaches Automation and Robotics in 8th grade and Principles of Engineering in the high school as well as teaching and advising the VEX Robotics teams.. . Future plans to offer include: PLTW Computer Integrated Manufacturing, Civil and Architectural Enginering, and Computer Apps.
