The Collingwood Medical Centre is proud to have an on-site “specimen collection centre” or otherwise known as "the lab" that only services Collingwood Medical Centre patients.

The lab is staffed by a nurse who draws blood and provides the results within a short turn around time span in patient’s EMR.
The nurse also performs many other services like ECGs, pulmonary functions, TRU-blood-pressure readings, 24 hr blood pressure monitoring and ankle-brachial index testing.
Various injections are given such as B12, allergy shots and travel vaccines to name a few.
The Flu shot clinics are held in our lab In the fall.
Other services performed dressing changes, application of liquid nitrogen for plantar warts and Aclasta infusions for osteoporosis..
