I offer online theater training for community theaters in North America.. . I have had a life-long passion for theater. I was trained as an Equity Stage Manager and worked in the Toronto theatre scene. I inadvertently moved into television news production and was busy with that and raising my family for many years. Then I discovered my local community theater group through a friend. My daughter was acting in a play and because I was at rehearsal every night I ended up back where I started as an Assistant Stage Manager. Once the group discovered I was trained in theater, well, they got me hooked again. . . Since that day I became increasingly and happily more involved. I was on the board of directors for the group and I managed to create a more profitable theater along with my colleagues – both financially and increasing the value of our theater patrons. . . I still am extremely involved with my local community theater and love that I can help them in so many ways. I am so grateful to be able to enrich the talents and skills of those involved who have no formal theater training. . . My goal is to offer you authentic and real strategies that will give you simple solutions to move your community theater forward.
