The First Year Experience Program at Coppin State University is an initiative designed to help first year students successfully transition into the University community. Through a wide range of programs and services, we strive to meet the unique needs of first year students. Our program is here to connect students to campus resources, explain University policies and procedures, offer workshops on a range of topics, coordinate the orientation course (ORIE 101) that all first year students must take, coordinate our Peer Leader program, and make sure that we address other challenges that our first year students might face.
