Detailed description is Here at 103 North Adams, we like to enjoy art in all of its forms and now we want other people to enjoy it with us! Hello All!. . My name is Matt Webb and I'm a student at EMU. As a performer, I not only enjoy my time on the stage, but I find so much joy in watching other artists in action. . . What better way than to open up a place for performers and audience members, alike, to come and enjoy free entertainment?! I thought it might be really cool to utilize the HUGE porch that I have as a community performance venue for artists to sign up to display their art. . . Performances would take place every other Friday and the set would consist of 5-6 performers (5min ea.) and 1 feature performer (30min) . . *all of whom are chosen by myself and the other members of my house based on who signs up*. . FAQ:. . What type of performers? . . -Poets. -Singers. -Actors. -Dancers. -Instrumentalists . -Painters . -Storytellers. -Comedians. -Ventriloquists. -etc. :) . . How do you sign up!?. . -Simple! On every Monday, a photo will be posted indicating it's the start of a new "sign up sheet", if you will. Just comment your name and we will contact you and help you get all signed up to perform! . . What about the audience?. . -We encourage the audience to bring chairs, blankets, pillows, anything they feel comfortable sitting on the lawn with. . . Do the performers get paid?. . -Our goal is to allow performers and audience members alike to enjoy performing and viewing without cost. There will be at least 5 general performers and 1 feature performer at each event and we are hoping to gain people who are simply passionate about getting their art seen by others. . . If I perform, can I advertise merchandise?. . -Absolutely! Consider our space your avenue to get discovered. We encourage performers/presenters to bring CD's, business cards, samples...etc that might help our audience keep up with their many future successes. .
