Detailed description is CycleHealth is an initiative of the YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities. What is the Flywheel Effect? It's the three spokes of our logo, put to motion in your life. Attitude + Adventure + Significance = the Flywheel Effect. . It’s not enough to have two of the three spokes working in life. The power comes from putting all three together and we call that the Flywheel Effect. The three spokes are all necessary: The blue representing the BreakAway Attitude we teach and empower. The red representing the Adventure-based events we host like our triathlon. And the green represents the Significance kids feel when they Play it Forward by fundraising in our campaigns for our partner charities to help them carry out their life-changing work for local kids. . . When kids put all 3 together they see the results of their life as it takes on its own momentum - like a flywheel. Kids feel it and they can’t get enough of it. It feeds on itself. They walk differently, they carry themselves differently, they become the role models for other kids of what it means to be truly healthy and alive.
