Detailed description is Shotokan Karate, Jui Jitsu, Self Defense and Physical Fitness.. Our youth class begins at 6 years of age up to 13, and our adult class is for 14 year old and up.. Youth train twice a week, Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:00. Adults 8 to 9:30 Bio of Robert Gonda. . Robert Gonda studied under Vic Riley, Ben McLeod, and Shawn Talmidge earning his 1st Dan in 2007. He has trained in Shotokan karate, kickboxing and Sambo. An important part of his love for the martial arts is competition, competing in point sparring, open hand kata, weapons kata, continuous sparring, and weapons sparring . Robert was the Continental Open Martial Arts Assoc. champion in 2004 and 2005, SMAA Provincial Champion in 2009 and runner up in 2010, and earning silver and bronze medals at the 2011 Pan-Am Martial Arts Games.. . Bio of Shawn Fisher. . Shawn Fisher began his martial arts studies with Vic Riley, Ben Mcleod and Shawn Talmidge, earning his 1st Dan in 2010. Shawn has coached baseball and soccer for several years, and his martial arts career began when his two sons enrolled in the Martensville Karate Do, specializing in Shotokan karate. Shawn is a competitor; he enjoys traveling to tournaments for the fellowship and competition, but also enjoys his team mates pushing him to the limits to better his skills. Over the years, Shawn has amassed many medals, but is proudest of his bronze medal at the 2011 Pan Am Games. Shawn loves jui jitsu and street level self defense, and brings a strong desire to bully proof all his students.
