After 7 years of teaching, she opened her first studio in 1987. . . Since 1987, Darcy has been a member in good standing with and licensed by the Cecchetti Council of America achieving her Intermediate (6) Teacher's Certificate.. . Darcy continues to study dance by regularly attending conventions and seminars. She also still enjoys performing along side her students in the studio's annual Christmas and Year End recitals.. .
