Upon graduation from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy (CCMH), she was the recipient of the annual award from the Massage Therapist’s and Wholistic Practitioner’s Association of the Maritimes for displaying a practice based on an all encompassing wholistic approach for the care and treatment of her patients. . . Several months prior to her graduation, she completed her extra studies and became a Reiki Master Teacher in the Usui style of Reiki, incorporating the therapy into her practice, aiming to balance and connect deeply rooted energetic disorders with their physical counterparts. . . During her time at CCMH, Darya was becoming more interested in the treatment of internal conditions, which led to her application and acceptance to the Canadian College of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine to advance her studies in acupuncture. In 2016, Darya graduated as an acupuncturist from CCATCM, and began treating with these modalities. She loves working in a tight-knit health community, and with prolonged exposure and success with local osteopaths, she decided to enrol into the Canadian College of Osteopathy to continue her education to become an Osteopath. . . In the few rare moments that Darya is not studying, she spends a great deal of time training with the aerialist dance and circus communities, building strength and focus through fitness and flexibility.
