Dave Jordan’s music has been described as a swampy love child of Tom Petty meets Dr. John meets John Prine. Their most recent album, No Losers Tonight (2016) was produced by Jeff Watkins. As a solo artist, Dave quickly emerged as one of the most talked about roots rock acts in New Orleans with his critically acclaimed solo debut, album: These Old Boots (co-produced by Anders Osborne in 2010) was named a Top 10 record of the year by the Times Picayune and nola.com followed by the release of Bring Back Red Raspberry (2013).. . They regularly gig at clubs like Tipitina's and the Maple Leaf in New Orleans and tour extensively in Colorado and throughout the Southeast and Mid Atlantic with plans to expand out to the west coast. Dave Jordan’s song the "Biggest Little Shrimp In Town," the title track of an award-winning short film, was re-recorded by Art Neville; and the Beverly Hills Short Film Festival created an award for Best Song to recognize their collaboration. . . With the release of No Losers Tonight in 2016, the band was nominated for Best Roots Rock Artist and Roots Rock Band by Offbeat Magazine later that year. The band has witnessed exponential growth in both their live and digital fan following as they continue to build their tour schedule playing in new markets in legendary music venues, notable clubs, and festivals. . . Dave has played with many of New Orleans' finest musicians- George Porter, Anders Osborne, Joe Krown, Jeff Watkins, Art Neville, The Meters- as well as shared the stage with acts like Little Feat, Widespread Panic, Leftover Salmon and Galactic. . . Co-band leader, Mike Doussan, a New Orleans native, started playing in clubs around New Orleans in 2004 as a "sit in" musician. He has been a member of numerous New Orleans based bands including Gradoux, Crescent City Allstars, 101 Runners, Six Strings Down (w/Billy Iuso, Josh Garrett, & John Lisi), and Irene Sage. He has also played alongside Dr. John, Warren Haynes, Walter Wolfman Washington, Tab Benoit, Joe Bonamassa, Dave Malone and Camile Baudoin of Radiators fame, and Anders Osborne, to name a few. . . Over the past 10 years, Mike has released 2 records of all original material, West Bank Mike & the Fisher Project "Muse in the Kitchen"(2006) and Mike Doussan "Sin Or Salvation"(2014). In 2013, Mike joined forces with Dave Jordan & The NIA (Neighborhood Improvement Association) as lead guitarist. Mike has become an integral part of the band serving not only as lead guitarist and vocalist, but also as a co-writer showcased on the 2016 NIA release "No Losers Tonight." Mike is touring extensively with the NIA promoting their new record, as well as writing, recording, and performing his own music with a new release tentatively coming out later this year.
