Delphic Development started when Alicia Psomas’s, the President of the company and life- long 5th generation self venture, was faced with a difficult challenge. . . In 2011, she became a mother. Being a mother to businesses and natural children in todays world comes with large pivots and planning would become unpredictably agile making family and work life balance difficult. This may come as an easier task for those working a traditional job; however, she knew having a young family and being an owner to multiple businesses, requires an action plan.. . Because of today’s market, business schooling her children from infancy to school age on- site would not be a consistent option. As she checked into multiple home care, schools and day care centers, her perception is Rochester is above average; however didn't meet all of her primary need. Alicia needed to create leaders to run multiple family businesses and improve on an entrepreneur legacy. She wanted her children to have a better start and improve their chances of upward mobility.. . In her search for adequate chid care leadership services, she found a gap and need for childhood development enrichment. For the first two years, Alicia worked and taught her children from home. They did very well, they knew how to spell, solve simple math, and two and three letter word phonic reading. So she felt the next strategic plan was to integrate them into their peer group. . . During the integration she observed a regression in learning, language and social skills. Even though she positioned her children with higher educated families, the outcome of transitioning from excelled home schooling to highly educated peers resulted in aptitude degradation. What she witnessed was what was happening on all levels of income, the standard of expectations were lowered due to frame work of students, size of the class, and traditional milestone teaching. . . The Rochester school system is amazing, however; there was not an excelled program for primetime learning. She began trying to reach out to area non profits, school systems, daycares and peers to scope the issue of early childhood education. In this research she believed the best approach is to develop an entrepreneur childhood education program. . . She understood solving her problem would help and solve the problem of many. This problem gave way to a solution in Delphic Development.. . Delphic Development has certified Teachers, Child Psychologists, Biologists to develop professionally - curriculum appropriate for children.
