It kicked off as Almeida & Son Painting back in 1955 by its founder, Manuel Almeida, with the hopes that he would raise a son that would work with him. Manuel and his wife did, in fact, have a son, Dennis Almeida, who learned the trade and took over the company when Manuel unfortunately succumbed to cancer in 2002.. . Dennis eventually grew tired of simply painting. In 2004, he underwent the process of acquiring his general contractor’s license to expand the company's services. Almeida & Son Painting soon became Almeida & Son Painting & Construction Inc. Although Dennis will still gladly do the painting, there is a myriad of other services he will provide with a free estimate, always. Accompanied by his crew, Dennis will complete kitchen and bathroom remodels including tile work, laminate floors, LED light installation, and granite and quartz installation. While we continue to utilize it for Livermore and other East Bay appointments, Dennis set his sights on expanding. In January 2017, ASPC obtained ownership of two buildings on a half-acre lot in Stockton, just off of Highway 5. Originally KR Kitchens, the property was officially under new management in January 2017. It was renamed as D&M Kitchen and Bath Supply, Inc.; D symbolizing Dennis and M for his wife Marnie. . . The Stockton showroom features cabinets, sinks, and faucets for kitchens and bathrooms alike, shower doors, shower floors, tiling, backsplash, granite and quartz countertops, hardwood and laminate flooring, range hoods, and a friendly duo of sales associates behind the front counter.. .
