Detailed description is We are a non-profit organization dedicated to animals and their well being.
We currently have a cat shelter, but hope to have dogs here as well..
The Davis Oklahoma Animal Volunteers or DOAV is a 501-c-3 organization run by volunteers who love animals and want to see them all have homes.
We operate both a Thrift Store in Davis, OK and a Cat Shelter in Sulphur, OK.

We take surrendered cats for a small fee that helps with their care andfeeding.
Our adoption fee covers the spay/neuter and vaccinations.

Our facility currently only houses cats, but we soon hope to offer shelter to other animals as we can.
The "Cat House" as we call it has both an open area, and isolation booths for cats that might need extra TLC before they can be introduced to the regular population..

Because of this socialization, we can observe the cats in a variety of situations to give you a better feel for their "general" disposition, and hopfully clue you in to any issues "before" they arise.
However all cats react differently to different environment, so know your cat may have a slight shift once they are home with you..
