Detailed description is Dog stars is an ADA friendly facility with equipped restrooms for both women and men. Easy access sidewalks and 2 ADA parking spaces and 1 is van accessible, for use in our completely paved parking lot. Dog Stars facility has the following courses to offer. All courses are held inside a heated and air conditioned training room. The training area measures 70 x 45 feet. The floor is covered with Greatmats dog agility flooring which provides excellent traction and support for both handlers and dogs alike. . Classes benefit owners as well as their dogs.. . 1) Puppy basics-This class helps puppies learn good manners,simple commands and socialization with people and other puppies. This will enable the puppy to live peacefully with its people.Proper care of puppies and safety will be discussed.. . 2) Basic obedience-This class is for dogs 7 months of age or older. This class helps dogs learn the basic commands in a group setting. Proper care of dogs and safety will be discussed. Training will be on leash primarily with some off leash exercises .. . 3) Advanced obedience-Must complete basic obedience first. This class is a continuation of the building blocks of basic. Your dog will become proficient at following commands. On and off leash exercises in a group setting.. . 4) Introduction to agility-Must have completed basic obedience first. An introduction for you and your dog to the sport of agility. The sole purpose of this class is to enhance the bond between you and your dog and to have fun together. Supervised off leash training.. . 5) Foundation agility-Must have completed basic obedience first. This class is designed to introduce you and your dog to the sport of agility and to prepare both of you for successful experiences. Your dog will start to know obstacles by name and will start to become familiar with the challenges each presents. Supervised off leash training.. . 6) Competition agility-This class is for those competing in agility trials. This class will focus on handling skills and increasingly difficult courses. All dogs will need to be evaluated before registration for this class. Admittance will depend on your skill level. Courses are at or above competition levels. No on leash work.
