Detailed description is .Downer is a music project (not really fair to call it a band, per se) I've been threatening to do for ages now.
Wrote some songs, learned enough to play them, and didn't do much with them until the end of last year.
Now back to writing and recording with every free moment, which are fewer and further between than I'd like (should probably bite my tongue on that).
I'm a huge fan of escapism in all its forms, but music has been the single most important constant in my life.
When I'm not listening to it, I still hear it.
Couple that with the fact that I want to live forever, and think if even one person finds any creative thing I've done in this life worthwhile 100 years from now...
well...
that'd be good enough.
Anyway, Downer's debut album 'You and I Are Nothing' will be out at the end of this year or early next, and there is now a free EP, 'Untogether', to download from the Downer web site at www.happyaccidents.net/downer.
It features three tracks in demo form off that album (also playing in the myspace player, maybe?) and one non-album track.
