Detailed description is Dreams Academy-Developing Responsible Extraordinary African-American Males for Society! Weekly mentoring sessions for young men in 5th-8th grades. Dreams Academy is where we Develop Responsible Extraordinary African-American Males for Society! We have up to 25 young men, ages 10-15, for 8 weeks and teach them valuable lessons as they prepare for manhood, exposing them to some of the most esteemed professional african-american males in our community. They will interact with professionals from all career walks such as the Akron Police Department who conducts a session with them about conduct and consequences, lessons on interpersonal communication, problem solving, financial literacy, etiquette and more!
