Originally opened in 1990 by former Oklahoma State linebacker Bobby Douglas, D’s Down Home BBQ was a small, hometown style food spot with meat served fresh off the smoker with Bobby’s own sauce and freshly made sides.
Unfortunately, after a year and half in business, a fire destroyed the restaurant and it was not reopened.
Bobby continued serving up his smoked meats for friends and family throughout the years and now he’s ready to bring his unique style and flavor back for the whole community.
