Detailed description is This page is dedicated to our English Springer Spaniels and their puppies! Welcome to Eagle Acres Springers! We are a small hobby farm in western Wisconsin and we love our English Springer Spaniels so much that we want to share them with everyone. English Springer Spaniels are fantastic family dogs, always willing to play and equally happy lounging about. Our dogs have strong European bloodlines and are a nice cross of the field and bench styles; making them perfect for families, showing or hunting. . . Our puppies are born and raised in the house and are watched over closely. We strive to keep their areas as clean as possible, changing out bedding frequently and cleaning the floors several times daily. We try to give them as much space as we can so they can have seperate areas for eating, sleeping and pottying. And young puppies need room to run, play, explore and wrestle. In warmer weather the puppies get to spend a lot of time outside, smelling and learning about all sorts of things....garden hoses and water, flowers, grass, rocks, wood chips, concrete, steps, chickens, goats etc. In the winter they won't get to see so many outside things so we do our best to teach them about different things in the house. Our ultimate goal is to give them confidence, be well socialized, healthy with strong growing muscles, and happy. The puppies are weaned at 6 weeks and their mother will no longer be spending the night with them. But she will spend as much time with them as she'd like during the day. She will tell the puppies to stop trying to suckle, then spend time washing them, wrestling, and watching over them. She lets us know when she needs a break. I believe it is important for the puppies to have their mother's influence as long as possible. She can teach them things that humans cannot, and it is good for their social and emotional development to have her with them. The puppies will also meet and spend time with the other adult dogs. They learn respect and social hierarchy from the adult dogs. And of course, the puppies get lots and lots of cuddles and play with their humans! . . We are planning for a spring 2017 litter with Pocahontas and Orion. We expect black tri's, black tipped sables, black tri roans, and sable roans. . . PRICING - Males are $650. Females are $700. This includes registration, tails docked, dew claws removed, deworming at least 3 times, and first set of shots. . . They will be sold on a first come/first serve basis. You are welcome to make a deposit of $200 towards the puppy of your choice. The remaining balance must be paid in full before the puppy goes home. All deposits are non-refundable, no exceptions. . . Puppies are sold on an AKC Limited Registration. Limited registration means that the dog is registered with the AKC but no litters produced by that dog will be eligible for registration. . . All puppies sold are required to be spayed or neutered by 8 months of age! . . Puppies will be ready to go to their new homes at 8 weeks of age. . . All puppies must be paid for in full before they leave. We prefer cash. If you would like to pay with a check then we require the check to be at our home no less than 1 week before pick-up. . . You are welcome to come and visit your puppy, we just ask that you please set up an appointment ahead of time. This is a hobby farm with other animals so we must ask that you leave your other dogs at home. Thank you!
