Detailed description is The Kenya team, EWB-Princeton's newest program, is working to provide Kubweye, Kenya with a reliable water supply. We have partnered with villages of Muchebe and Komosoko in southwestern Kenya to build a rain water catchment system on the local primary schools, providing over 2000 people with clean water. Clean and reliable water is a major challenge in this region and by implementing this engineering project we plan to address this need. In addition, we plan to teach the community proper water treatment and conservation methods. We will also follow EWB's model of community driven initiatives and will ensure to create a sustainable project by ensuring that the community is trained on how to maintain this system. We plan to return to the nearby community of Kubweye to implement a borehole in the summer of 2017..
