I am a single mom of 3, full time student, youth leader and Christian counselor.

I am in the process of developing a Christian Nonprofit Organization that reaches the hurt and broken to educate and give them an understanding of their identity in Jesus & live lives free, forgiven, and redeemed!.

For an honors project at school I chose to write a paper on Adolescent Suicide Prevention.
After studying our current statistics not only nationwide but the state of Ohio, for 4 months, I chose to create a solution to my paper.
That's when I developed an adolescent suicide prevention program, there is a HUGE need in our cities..

Being a survivor myself, I struggled with cutting, drugs, bullying, and suicide as a teen beginning at 12, I have a passion and connection with these kids that are hurting daily around us - I've lived it.
I know it's a miracle to be alive today.
Broken pasts have purpose.
I've worked with several suicidal teens over the past several years and redirected their perspective of suicide as a way out into living life and taking trials as opportunities to grow and giving them self esteem to realize there is purpose in this life only they can fulfill.
Healing from the inside out approach..

My organization will begin this Fall 2017 with a pilot implementation of my Peer Mentoring Suicide Prevention Program in one of our local public schools (this program is not based on any religion to be able to be implemented into the schools, however if it's student led, they may pray with one another or discuss religion- just want to be clear this program does follow rules and regulations for the public school system).
However, I'm developing a Christian version for a few other organizations that would like this type of suicide prevention program..

We lose a child in Ohio to suicide approx every 90 mins every day.
They do not want to die, but they want to be stopped by someone who understands their pain.
I am ready to devote the rest of my life developing more programs for middle and high school children to teach them to cope with life's circumstances and implementing this suicide prevention program to make a difference in our communities and a produce a brighter outlook for our future generations rising up knowing they are fearfully and wonderfully made and they are not alone.
This program does touch base with cutting, bullying, drug addictions, pregnancies, all the things that lead to suicide in adolescents.
Partnerships are being made with valuable resources around the county to cover the needs of the families involved..
