Detailed description is Official Facebook of FIRST Robotics Team 1939, the Kuhnigits. We are based in The Barstow School in Kansas City, MO. Like us for updates about our team. Our school hosts an incredible variety of students for its small size. We all have different backgrounds, interests, and talents. But we also share many traits, such as a passion for learning, an interest in technology, and deep enthusiasm. FIRST Robotics brings many such students from all grades together as one close-knit team: the Kuh-nig-its.. . Why Kuh-nig-its? Our school mascot is the knight, and since we have a Monty Python and the Holy Grail theme, we chose this name. Every year, we name our robot after a character from the movie. At competitions, we like to wear costumes of characters from the movie, and we are well-known for our imagery.
