Detailed description is Development Programme for people with potential, who identify themselves as a potential leader. The FLINT group was launched June 2013 by a group of graduates, who thought it would be great if there was a forum where people like themselves could share experiences. . . Over the first year, FLINT hosted a number of events, where graduates, apprentices and school leavers within the Telco Industry were able to come together to meet and learn. . . In 2015, FLINT and TUANZ decided it made sense to bring the programme into the TUANZ organisation and utilise their resources to ensure FLINT continued to develop. . . TUANZ has now taken over running FLINT in both Auckland and Wellington, but has retained the approach of being an open invite group. FLINT members able to attend TUANZ events at member rates while they are part of the group. . . FLINT continues to have its own volunteer leadership group, but with the resources of TUANZ enabling it to concentrate fully on developing the programme. It is intended to also work on developing the lead group to be representative and self-regenerating.
